Summary of Donations to St Vincent de Paul Society
In 2018 the Our Lady's Acomb parish branch of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society reformed as the Social Volunteering Project so as to better focus our resources on the needs of the local poor. We seek to translate concern for others into practical action; to reach out to find those in need, to help them in a spirit of justice, and to tackle poverty where possible. ​Working behind the scenes, our volunteers do vital work, and are often a lifeline for families and individuals. We work especially with those in financial need and those suffering social isolation.
